Now, I'm going to reveal another Windows 7 secret to you. Yes, it's possible to turn your Windows 7 based Computer into a Wi-Fi Hotspot. You don't require a Wireless router to share the Internet connection anymore.

Please follow this procedure to turn On the Windows Aero user interface in the Windows 7 Operating System.

1. Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel window, click Appearance and Personalization.
3. In the Appearance and Personalization window, click Personalization.
4. In the Personalization window, click to select any one of the Aero Themes.

2. In the Control Panel window, under System and Security, click Find and fix problems.

Follow this procedure to use the Program Compatibility Wizard in Windows XP Operating System for legacy Sofwatre meant to work with the older version of Windows than Windows XP.

NOTES:

• The Windows XP operating system compatibility wizard will assist in configuring an application for compatibility mode.
• Any application or setup program on the hard drive, a floppy disk, or a CDROM or DVDROM disc can be configured using the wizard.
• Compatibility mode settings for applications on floppy disk or CDROM or DVDROM discs are retained only until the program is closed. The compatibility wizard will need to be used each time the application is started.

Follow this procedure to install an application using Compatibility mode in the Windows 7 or Windows Vista Operating System. This is quite handy when you want to install a legacy Software which used to work on the previous versions of Windows.

Microsoft has discontinued the retail sale of the Windows Live OneCare Software as of September 30, 2009 and new subscriptions are no longer being offered after this date. Customers with current subscriptions will receive continued support from Microsoft throughout the remainder of their subscription and the malware definition files for this Software will be updated during this time period.

The Windows 7 Operating System natively supports writing to Blu-ray Disc (BD) media. However, the InterVideo WinDVD BD Software or other third-party player Software is still required for Blu-ray Disc (BD) playback.
