I am having a unique issue where The Sims 3 exits while playing on my laptop. I get error message related to some graphics card. It is two years old dell inspirion. As I'm not much adept with computers, i don't know what to do. Recently one of my friends clean installed windows 7 on my computer. Earlier I was using Windows Vista. The computer works fine when I'm not playing the game. Please help me.

Sounds like your video driver is out of date. I suggest that you upgrade your video driver from the Dell website. Also, check if there are any new patches available for the Sims 3 game.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, you may consider upgrading the RAM.
